Poo (Part 3): Constipation Tips


My last couple of posts have spoken about the importance of passing AT LEAST ONE soft, well-formed stool every day and some possible reasons why this may not be occurring.


Today, I'd like to give you a few simple tips to help relieve your constipation to ensure proper elimination of toxins.


WHAT TO DO?

1. Drinks at least 2L of WATER every day (plus replace any fluids lost through sweating/exercise).

2. Ensure you are consuming enough FIBRE. Adults need approximately 25-30g of fibre per day, which you can get from fruit, veg, whole grains, nuts, seeds, beans, and pulses.

3. EXERCISE every day to get your bowels moving.
